The last few days of camp are super exciting here at Camp Carolina-we sure like to finish camp with a bang! The second last morning we wake up and prepare for World Cup Soccer… The whole camp is split into teams and the counselors enter the dining hall with “Captain America” donning full face paint and patriotic clothing of the country they are representing. After a very “American” speech from Alfred the boys head back to their cabins to get ready for the cup competition!
A morning of soccer is followed by lunch where the head counselors entertain the campers with a skit and dubios awards-this sessions performance is based on Anchorman! The afternoon is cabin pack up and cabin free time where the boys get to hang out for one last afternoon. That evening we have a slide show to reflect on the awesome times we have had over the session before the Carolina Jug Band arrives at CCB and entertains the boys with their lack of musical talent!
And then for the final morning we have a new format. Parents arrive at 10, pack their sons up before heading down to watch them compete in the Olympics. The Olympics are followed by cook out and campfire before we farewell our campers for summer 2013. We hope everyone had a great main session and we can’t wait to see y’all again soon!
