Camp Carolina is constantly striving to offer our campers a HUGE range of activities to keep the program interesting and offer the boys a chance to try out a new skill and perhaps develop an interest in a new activity.
A few of the more unique and interesting activities offered here at CCB include mountain boarding, hang gliding and several international team sports. This year we are excited to introduce a new activity-Stand up Paddle Boarding! On a recent trip to the beach Alfred purchased several boards to introduce to our water front program for 2012. 
Stand up paddle boarding gives you the opportunity to paddle rivers, lakes and oceans from a comfortable standing position where you have a great view of your surroundings. Here at CCB we are full steam ahead into our pre season program! Today (Saturday) is the first class of the summer, the Wilderness First Responder Requalification. Head of white water Ben Williams is renewing his qualification with several other outdoor professionals this weekend. We have several returnees arriving in the next few days and by Tues night all of our “Tripping” program counselors will have arrived to take part in the 10 day Wilderness First Responder course to ensure they are well-trained and knowledgeable to take our campers out on trips this summer. Camp is looking great thanks to our hard-working maintenance crew and June 3rd, first opening day is ticking closer.
